Fig 1 (above): The metabolome of several biofluids (e.g. blood and urine) reflects the metabolic activity of the entire organism, which is influenced by a host of endogeneous and exogeneous factors. A selection of factors potentially affecing systemic metabolism is presented here
Fig 3 (below): NMR metabolic profiling of biofluids may reflect several phases of cancer development, making it applicable for different purposes, from assessing the risk of future cancer development to detecting and characterizing existing cancer. The mininmally invasive nature makes metabolic profiling of biofluics a suitable tool for treatment monitoring

Figure below for the article
Newspiece text:
Patient safety upon immunotherapy treatment is a challenge that still need to be adressed.
Here we report how by affecting c-SRC kinase we can make T-cells "dummy": effector cells are still able to recognize and bind to the target but unable to carry on with their activation. This mechanism could potentially open the way for a safe-lock system permitting to reduce off-target toxicity.
Announced article:
Human c-SRC kinase (CSK) overexpression makes T cells dummy.
